Part # 8401
Track proven and tested in the extreme Texas heat with ambient temperature consistently over 90°F (32°C) at TX2K by three S58 vehicles. All three posted times of 7-seconds, including new world record holder of the "Fastest BMW in the World" Tom Wrigley Performance in his G80 M3 race car (7.67 seconds at 183mph). The street driven GTP Motorsport G87 xDrive M2 also set the M2 World Record with a time of 7.84 seconds at 178mph.
Design & Engineering
The new manifolds were designed and engineered in collaboration with CSF's long time strategic manufacturing partner Custom Plenum Creations (CPC). CPC has decades of experience manufacturing similar billet intake manifolds for the 2JZ and RB platforms supporting many vehicles making 2500+ HP. In regards to the X58 platforms, CSF's new competition intake manifold is purpose-built for serious drag racers wanting to push past the current 1500 WHP ceiling.
CSF's new manifold design, which removes the charge cooler from the intake manifold, resolves the core size limitation of all drop-in fit options available on the market. This allows for a much larger intercooler core to be mounted in the front of the vehicle. Both external Air-to-Water and Air-to-Air intercoolers can be used with the CSF "No Limit" Manifold. Each type of setup was proven at TX2K 2026 by Tom Wrigley Performance (A2W) and GTP Motorsport (A2A).
The design optimizes plenum volume and refines runner design with integrated velocity stacks. CFD analysis was used to ensure there was no airflow imbalance and cylinder scavenging issues that could limit top end performance. Milled from solid 6061 billet aluminum and precision CNC-machined, this manifold delivers the strength, flow, and consistency needed for extreme-boost & high-performance setups.
Key Features:
-
Proven Results: Used on the world's fastest BMWs at TX2K 2026
-
Solid 6061 Billet Aluminium: CNC-machined for strength, consistency, and performance at extremely high power levels (1500+ HP).
-
Internal Velocity Stacks: Results in smooth airflow into each cylinder, improving efficiency and top-end power.
-
O-ring Sealed Surfaces: Ensures airtight sealing, no leaks, even under extreme boost and potential backfires.
-
Large Throttle Body: Throttle Body Bolt Pattern is for an S55 throttle Body (77mm) which has a larger ID than the B58 and S58 (67-68mm).
-
Integrated Sensor Pads: Two Integrated Sensor Pads to Measure Additional Parameters or Extra Sources of Vacuum.
-
Race-Ready Package: Supplied with Billet Fuel Rail and features Modular Ports on the Top of Each Cylinder Runner that can be used for secondary port injection (requires optional 2nd rail), Nitrous, or Methanol Injection.
-
Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer: Thermal Rejection Spacer reduces manifold temperatures which helps lower Intake Air Temperatures (IATs), improve charge air cooler efficiency, and combats heat soak.
Proven Results
Prototype Air-to-Air Manifolds were delivered to three R&D Partners in December 2025 for the 2026 race season: Tom Wrigley's G80 M3, as well as two GTP Motorsport vehicles; their in house G87 M2 (xDrive) and long time customer @s58NYC's G82 M4. All 3 of these vehicles boast impressive power and 7 second 1/4 mile times. The feedback received from these S58 platform leaders has led to many improvements and refinements that CSF is proud to bring to the market with these new manifolds.
Tom Wrigley Performance - G80 M3
Tom Wrigley has been running CSF cooling on their G80 M3 for years. Their team won countless competitions running the CSF #8233 Level-Up Manifold. Now, they set a new BMW world record with the new CSF Air-to-Air manifold running the quarter mile at TX2K 2026 in 7.67 seconds at 183mph. They also took home 1st place in the X58 Class.
